Health pages on MedicalTourism.com.au are intended for medical review by an Ahpra-registered practitioner before we treat clinical statements as reviewed.
Current status
Clinical review: awaiting a named Ahpra-registered practitioner
We publish as an independent Australian publisher and queue health pages for medical review before treating clinical statements as reviewed. No named reviewer is attached yet. Until one is confirmed:
- Every article byline shows Awaiting clinical review (not a named clinician)
- Structured data does not claim a completed clinical review
- Readers should treat clinical content as general information only and confirm decisions with their own Ahpra-registered practitioner
What medical review means here
When a reviewer is attached, they will:
- Read the page for clinical accuracy and balance (risks, limitations, recovery caveats)
- Check that we do not overstate outcomes or invent statistics
- Confirm citations support the claims we make
- Record their name, Ahpra registration number and review date on the byline
Reviewers do not endorse clinics, recommend procedures for individuals, or turn guides into personal advice.
How pages are marked
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Awaiting clinical review | Page is live for planning research; not yet signed off by a named Ahpra reviewer |
| Named reviewer + date | Reviewed; registration number shown on the page |
Corrections after review
If a clinician or reader spots an error, email our corrections process. We correct material errors promptly, note the change, and re-queue the page for review when clinical wording changes.
